Dr. Anoop Kumar A/L Beshambar Nath

MBBS (MANG. U.), MRCOG (LONDON)
  • Graduated with an MBBS degree from the University of Mangalore, Manipal, India in 1986.
  • Underwent registrar training at Ipoh General Hospital in 1991.
  • Received an MRCOG degree after completing his postgraduate study at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London, UK in 1993.
  • Worked mainly at Watford District General Hospital in the UK from 1993 to 1994.
  • At the same time gained an abundance of experience while undertaking locum work at other hospitals.
  • Was a consultant OB-GYN and the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Taiping Hospital after returning to Malaysia from 1994 to 1996.
  • During his tenure at Taiping Hospital, Dr. Anoop has initiated:
- the formation of a minimally invasive surgical unit
- an endoscopic surgery workshop
- an ultrasound workshop
- a comprehensive antenatal classes program
- a bereavement counseling group
  • Established a maternity home in 1996 after leaving Taiping Hospital
  • Has been in private practice for the last 27 years.
  • Was a visiting consultant for PCSH in 1996.
  • Joined PCSH full-time as a resident consultant in October 2019.
